WOW! This is the first time I've been to the biennial LDO at Westmere School and I'm so glad I didn't miss this one. What a fantastic day out for the whole family.

The stalls and activities were very well supported. Food and wine - great selection. Those Ka Pai mussels - absolutely the best I've had!

The kids had a fab time spending their allocated funds and cruising around with their mates. Plenty of action for the preschoolers - real hits were the bouncy castle, police car & fire truck and of course the wonderful doggie-cart rides.

There was so much action on the back field we only ventured over to the main stage area for food and drink. Well done teachers for getting wet - great memories for our children.

Thanks to all the organisers - your hard work and time has given our community a wonderful event.

I had no idea what to expect really so was absolutely taken aback by the scale and organisation of the whole event.

I had an absolute ball, as did my kids. At least they told me they had a good time as I didn't see much of them during the day. They would come back to dad for the odd cash injection and feed, but apart from that they were here, there and everywhere whilst I relaxed with friends in a really great environment.

I can't wait for the next one to be honest although it's going to be hard to top this years event!

Westmere parents like a drink I have discovered ;-)

As a teacher at a decile 1 school in Glen Innes I was totally blown away by your "Little Day Out". Definitely the best school fair I've been to in a long time. Good food, good wine, good fun! Caught up with old friends from university and met new people too.

Loved making badges. Enjoyed the "Stars" dancing. Thought it was wonderful to see a second generation sing "Who loves who the most?"with their parents! Laughed at the teachers being soaked by their students. Was interested to see the use of first names for staff... Hope you raised enough money to build your hall.

Well Done to all the children and adults who did all the hard work. Best $20 I've spent in a long time.

Absolutely BRILLIANT day. The numbers attending were perfect! Crowded but not uncomfortably so. Only one period when the bar had any sort of queue. More Beer required!! The stage auctions warmed up the crowd for the obligatory participation with Jordan.

I thought it was a terrific event. Fantastic standard was set. All of the volunteers, particularly the organising committee put in so much effort and hard work and it paid off completely.

I thought the food was all fantastic - however, not enough stuff that kids adore. The fruit kebabs were a hit, but more sausage sizzles were required, and maybe a beer tent down on the bottom field. The kids stage was very disorganised and needed more parental control. That second stage has the potential to have more community involvement.

My child also had an accident on the bouncy castle. This was partly caused I believe by over crowding. Rides like this need to be carefully monitored, especially with little children. The bouncy castle was also closed with a small entrance, which is also not so good when you've got so many kids using it.

All in all a fantastic day. I thought the branding was amazing - WELL DONE!!!
