little DAY OUT

Did you think the community spirit at the Little Day Out was great? We sent 200 thank you cards to parents, which goes to show how many people contributed to the day.

We know we have supportive school parents, PTA has become outmoded and it’s time for a change. Many parents feel out of touch with the school. They say that with their busy lives, they don’t know many of their children’s classmates, or their parents. They want to help the school in ways that use their skills and fit their lifestyle, but they don’t know how.

So a group of volunteer parents is launching “Parent Net”. We want to make it easier for the class community to form and to ensure that parents, who want to, can be included. In this email we invite people to share their contact details to get involved and meet other parents, as well as to put themselves forward as a “Parent Contact”.
