Not so Silent Auction
Latest Auction News – Jason at 03:47 pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2008
The items are still rolling in for our Silent Auction. Kristen Fordham has donated a clothing voucher to get your daughter a winter outfit from her Jervois Rd store KAF.
City Mix magazine have donated an Auckland Fun Pack – a subscription to the magazine, 4 Auckland Theatre tickets to a play of your choice, a double pass to the preview of the Painted Veil and three of City Mix’s Auckland guides to cafes, kids activities and restaurants.
Some planter pots have arrived that will give some winter colour to your garden.
We also like the $300 voucher to spend at Chapel , the lively Ponsonby Rd bar and bistro. Dinner for two or a few drinks with your mates?
Not so Silent Auction
Peter Urlich starts the Not So Silent Auction at 2.45 as he auctions two tickets to the Wellington Dancing with the Stars Final. We all would have loved to see Peter in the final but alas, this was not to be.
At 4.45 Bayley’s auctioneer, John Bowring will be auctioning two items live from the main stage.
The CityMed vasectomy which we know has led to some serious discussion in Westmere homes.
Also Exclusive private chef to rock stars and royalty, Marc Zajtman, will come to your home or business to cook and serve a five course menu. This is perfect for a special event, a business lunch or would be fun for a group of friends. Marc will do the shopping for you but remember the wine and food are not included in the auction price.
Raffles
Thanks to our generous sponsors, this year’s Little Day Out raffles are filled with loads of fantastic prizes. We’ve got great gear and vouchers up for grabs that will appeal to men, women and the kids – from bikes to bar tabs to beautiful handbags.
There really is something for everyone and at $2 for a ticket or $5 for three, you’d be mad not to give yourself plenty of chances to win. When you’re placing your silent auction bids, come by the raffle table to see all the goodies on display and get your lucky tickets!
We’ll also have raffle sellers out on the field – look out for them in their orange t-shirts and raffle sashes.
The draw closes at 4.30pm and the winners’ names and ticket numbers will be posted on a whiteboard at the raffle table soon after, so make sure you send the kids up to see if you’ve hit the jackpot and to collect the loot!
The Auction List
If you would like to get a 2 page summary printout of all items which includes retail value and reserve levels we have included a .PDF format auction list here that you may download.
As there may still be changes we may update this list before the event, in which case please note the latest date. Note:UPDATED today 2nd of April (at 10:05pm – so if you downloaded it before that time – there may be some errors in the earlier versions.)
